Running hoodies – this isn’t an “extra layer”

A solid running hoodie isn’t a whim. For people who want to cover routes with enjoyment, comfort and a sense of safety, it’s an important part of a runner’s outfit. A running hoodie protects the key areas of the body that are most prone to getting chilled (the chest, elbows, hands, neck) – it’s the first thing we should think about when putting together a running kit.

We’ve got something specific for you, gents: proper men’s running hoodies. They’ll keep you warm, wick away moisture, fit your shape and look great on routes – in the middle of the forest and somewhere between the roads across fields. We’ve prepared for you: men’s hooded hoodies, running hoodies with pockets, hoodies with a half-neck.

We’ve created designs that are universal and minimalist to the limit (so they can be easily combined with clothing from other collections, even from other manufacturers), as well as patterned versions – bold and energetic. Running hoodies are put through quality tests in the tailoring workshop and on the route. They are tested for you by the ATTIQ Team athletes – thanks to their feedback, the hoodies are, above all, sportswear and meet all the criteria of “clothes for movement”.

Men’s running hoodie – what we pay attention to

We assume that a men’s running hoodie is the kind of garment that doesn’t need to appear in a sportsman’s wardrobe in a dozen copies. Two or three solidly made models are enough (or even one, if you run occasionally). That’s why we do our best so that the running hoodie you buy at ATTIQ stays with you for years. How do we do it?

- We sew models with a well-thought-out cut (created by clothing pattern makers).

- We choose materials after testing them beforehand.

- We look for fabrics at international trade fairs and compare offers.

- We sew from materials sourced from the European Union.

- We sew locally – in our workshop in the south of Poland.

- We test the clothes (including, above all, running hoodies) in tough conditions (in the mountains, which we have right next door).

Running hoodies are tailored to the male physique (broader shoulders, narrower waist). We shaped the sleeves so that they don’t restrict movement and don’t wear out despite active fabric movement (the fabric doesn’t abrade, seams don’t split).

Hooded running hoodies – we protect what matters

Every time customers ask us what matters most when choosing sportswear, we all say the same thing: safety. A hood in a running hoodie can not only change the comfort of training (anyone who has run in strong wind will understand), but above all increase safety. Covering the head, ears and nape of the neck from cold, sharp air hitting a warmed-up body straight on minimises the risk of chilling, painful cramps.

So we created several hoodie models with a well-shaped hood. We wanted it not to slip off your head while running. In many models we’ve sewn in a hood that is, in a way, a separate part of the garment – meaning you don’t have to put it on to pull up the collar (which is common with hoodies bought in sports chain stores).

Reflective running hoodie – it’s the basics

Adding reflective elements to ATTIQ clothing is an obvious choice for us. Ensuring safety should be the basis of practising any sport. In men’s running hoodies we sew in reflective elements so that you’ll be visible from a long distance. However, we don’t want safety to make you think of “lightbulb” details. We choose reflective elements that match the hoodie design (we go for graphite!) and meet all the criteria of a solid reflector.

Running hoodies for every season

Men’s running hoodies with the ATTIQ logo are models you can wear in any season. In transitional seasons they’ll be sufficient as an outer layer; in winter you can wear them under a jacket. We’re not keen on tailoring clothes to specific sports. Many models work for many occasions. Our running hoodies will work perfectly in the mountains, and also in city outfits – in the so-called urban outdoor style.

Men’s running hoodies for winter – merino works in the cold

Among men’s running hoodies we also have those you can wear on routes tackled in winter. Designs with a blend of merino fibres (Tecnowool Merino) maximise protection for strategic areas of the body; without losing heat they also wick away moisture – so the skin stays dry and properly protected.

Under men’s running hoodies it’s worth wearing suitable thermal underwear to increase comfort during sport. Men’s models (ideal under running clothes) can also be found in our shop. We reinforced selected hoodie designs with materials that protect against (light) rain – we stitched them especially on the sleeves (protecting sports watches) and by the pockets (where there’s often a phone or wallet).
