If we were to compile the statistics and questions you send us into categories, the one concerning “thermal underwear made from merino wool” would be the biggest. Merino garments have been available in our collections for a long time and are eagerly chosen by you.
At ATTIW we sew merino clothing and thermal underwear from fabrics in which wool efficiently (and cleverly) combines with technical fibres. Thanks to this, you get merino underwear with enhanced performance.
- Our merino wool underwear includes short-sleeve tops, long-sleeve tops (longsleeve) and leggings with merino wool.
- We sew merino underwear from fabrics combining wool fibres with sporty polyester. This solution makes the construction more durable and the material fits the body better.
- Merino wool has antibacterial properties, is soft, breathable and helps the body with thermoregulation – it’s one of the better choices when it comes to fibre for underwear.
- To maintain the durability of merino underwear and garments, it’s worth paying attention to washing and storage rules.
- Merino underwear (tops, long-sleeve tops and leggings) does not retain odours – the best way to refresh it is not washing but airing.
Merino garments with the ATTIQ label are mainly running tops (or more broadly: for activity, movement), leggings and longsleeves. These are products we are truly proud of: they are lightweight, safe for the skin and wick moisture quickly. Merino fibres provide the temperature that’s needed at a given moment – they cool in summer and keep you warm in winter.
In our merino clothing and underwear we introduce new construction solutions. We often decide, for example, on targeted body mapping – then the fabric does not cling to the skin across its entire surface, and thanks to that air circulation is even better.
We hide the seams on the inside – we don’t want a backpack worn over a top to pull threads from the stitching. This is extra protection for the garment and further support in keeping it for years.
Our merino clothing is available in many colourways, and at the same time each model can be both “men’s” and “women’s” – the distinction appears only in the cut (we slightly taper women’s tops at the waist).
One of ATTIQ’s core principles is creating garments that will stay with you for years and won’t be “only for one sport”. We designed the merino wool clothing series (Denali and Intensa) so that the look of the garments does not exclude them from being incorporated into everyday outfits.
Merino clothing, due to its properties, is perfect not only for wearing in a sporty way, but also for everyday urban use – breathable, skin-friendly and insulating (or cooling) garments are something everyone deserves, right?
ATTIQ merino underwear is clothing in versions for women and for men.
We shape the women’s models at the waist and fit them to the female silhouette. In the men’s we keep a fairly straight cut, while paying attention to the right shoulder shaping.
- In “urban outfits”, girls can wear merino underwear and clothing under oversized jumpers or trousers made of thin fabric. Such a wool base can serve as a lining for garments that have no insulation – they look good, but are simply cold.
- Guys, in turn, love (and we hear this quite often) wearing merino garments “solo” – as regular everyday T-shirts or long-sleeve tops.
The colours of our collections of merino wool clothing and thermal underwear (for women and men) are universal enough to pair well with garments from other manufacturers or elements of classic “urban” styling (jeans, a black zip-up hoodie, a sporty jacket).
Clothing and underwear items made from merino wool offer many benefits that justify the slightly higher price of these models (compared to garments made solely from synthetics).
- Efficiently regulates temperature: merino wool regulates body temperature exceptionally well – it maintains a feeling of comfort in various weather conditions. In winter it retains warmth, and in summer it provides coolness.
- Breathes, so forget about sweat on your skin: the structure of merino wool fibres makes it easier for the skin to “breathe” (this is of course a simplification, as the skin does not physiologically breathe), which counteracts sweating and the feeling of “stuffy heat” even during intense physical exertion or significant stress.
- Has antibacterial properties: merino wool has natural antibacterial properties, which means it limits the growth of bacteria and unpleasant odours. Merino garments stay fresh for longer.
- It’s soft: “merino” is an exceptionally delicate-to-the-touch material – garments made from it are comfortable to wear even for people with sensitive skin. Reinforced with sporty polyester fibres, they become garments for years.
- Easy to care for: merino wool clothing and underwear are usually easy-care. You can often machine-wash them (although you don’t really need to do it often – just airing them is enough), and they dry within a few hours.
Merino wool garments available in our shop are made with using them in motion in mind, but remember that “movement” for us is a concept much broader than “sport”. You can be in motion anywhere.
- On cool days, you can put on merino wool thermal underwear as a “base” under office clothes, for a get-together with friends or a long walk around the city. They give a feeling of “being hugged and warmed” – they are ideal for frost or damp and windy evenings.
- You can head out in them for outdoor training: cycling, running, rollerblading. They are made for taking outdoors.
- You can pass them on to people with sensitive skin (especially those who struggle with dermatological issues) – we are convinced they will feel comfortable in them.
