Honestly? In terms of construction, it’s one of the more complicated projects. Creating good men’s cycling jackets requires not only extensive knowledge of materials (what and how it stretches, and what and how should not stretch), but also knowledge of sport, cycling and anatomy. And even if the designer (in our case, a female designer) is a construction genius, you can’t do without testing. And that’s exactly how we put men’s cycling jackets through their paces. Was it worth it? Absolutely! Meet the mini-collection of our men’s cycling jackets.
You’ll find:
We assume the answer “it depends” won’t satisfy you. Yet in reality – everything depends on what kind of riding you want to buy the jacket for, what cycling clothing you already have in your wardrobe, and whether you also want to wear it day-to-day.

It’s worth discussing your jacket choice with our Customer Advisors – they’re not just salespeople, they’re first and foremost athletes who know movement and the clothing that supports it like few others. Before a phone call or email, or a visit to our physical shop (which we warmly invite you to), think through the points below.

You let us know you’re curious how a cycling jacket with a hood would work on the bike. Until now we haven’t had such products in our shop, but we’ve already put it on the “for the future” list – we’ll keep them in mind when creating the next collections of men’s cycling jackets.
At ATTIQ, we sew men’s cycling jackets from sports polyester. We know that polyester often has a bad reputation, but we also know that in sport – especially the kind that’s no longer an amateur bike outing – there are few better materials.
Modern sports polyester has nothing to do with materials that make your body overheat – these are breathable fibres that wick away moisture and regulate body temperature appropriately. They also protect against moderate rain, not letting it through to the inside. A rain jacket for cycling stays dry – it won’t soak through from rain, damp, or sweat.
We sew reflective elements into our cycling jackets. For some of you they’re just details, accessories to a sports outfit; for us they’re often the first thought that appears when we start designing new clothing. Reflective elements are your safety. There’s nothing we care about more.
Men’s windproof cycling jackets from the ATTIQ collection have a sporty, cycling-specific construction – they’re fitted to the body, so they don’t let wind in. The back of men’s cycling jackets is lengthened – it protects the back (kidneys). The hem of the extended back is finished with a silicone gripper tape – thanks to it, the jacket doesn’t ride up even when you change your body position.
The zips sewn into men’s cycling jackets also don’t let wind and rain through; the cuffs sewn into the sleeves provide additional protection from the cold.
