Winter trekking trousers

You’ll find trekking trousers for all seasons here. Men’s winter mountain trousers are designs in which we combine the latest technological solutions with well-thought-out, universal design. We sew them from three different materials, incorporating a robust thermoactive outer and inner layer.

Our trekking trousers are resistant to pilling and so-called peeling. We protect the lower legs with waterproof inserts that block moisture absorption and stop it travelling upwards. ATTIQ winter trekking trousers are resistant to deformation (caused by low temperatures) and efficiently wick away moisture – you won’t feel the “sauna effect”, which is so uncomfortable and dangerous during winter trips.

Summer trekking trousers

For summer, we’ve prepared men’s mountain trouser designs that will surprise you with their lightness. We wanted summer trekking trousers to feel unnoticeable on the skin, while still providing the protection you need. These are designs that will protect you from wind and water (we’ve reinforced them with a windproof impregnation). Adjustable leg widths allow you to tailor them to different types of mountain boots (taller and approach styles).

In our summer trekking trousers we’ve sewn in pockets fastened with YKK zips – exceptionally sturdy and durable. Summer trouser designs wouldn’t be complete without an elasticated waistband that keeps the trousers in place and therefore ensures freedom of movement (neither too tight nor letting the trousers “hang”). We sew our summer designs so that – with thermal underwear underneath – they also work well in the shoulder seasons or during “cold” outings (sunrises or night trips).

If you’re wondering which size of men’s hiking trousers to choose, we have a few suggestions. First, check the size chart on our website carefully and compare it with your measurements (yes, it’s worth doing). If the centimetres are “just right”, it’s worth taking the trousers one size up (remember the extra layer underneath). Mountain trousers – what to look for when choosing

What is worth bearing in mind when buying mountain trousers for men? 

• That they’re more than just clothing. Properly sewn trousers support you on the route – they ventilate the body, protect against getting chilled, and protect the skin from damage. It’s not worth saving on safety. Mountain trousers are sports equipment.
• That the selection of materials can’t be random – the durability of the design depends on the right combination of materials. It’s worth choosing mountain trousers from proven manufacturers.
• That mountain clothing, trousers in particular, should be tested – it’s worth checking whether the trousers you want to buy have already made their debut on the trail.

Men’s trekking trousers – how to care for them

How do you care for men’s trekking trousers? For each product, on the label, we describe how to handle it properly. However, the golden rules for washing mountain clothing are as follows:

• larger dirt (dried mud, sand) should be gently removed (do not pull or tear off chunks of mud),
• the part of men’s trekking trousers covered with softshell can be gently wiped with a wet sponge (do not scrub),
• the trousers must be washed at the temperature indicated by the manufacturer;
• men’s trekking trousers should not be dried in harsh sunlight (if you have to wash them e.g. at a campsite, it’s better to hang them somewhere the sun’s rays won’t cause the colour to fade);
• trekking trousers can be treated with an impregnation, if recommended by the manufacturer;
• it’s worth paying attention to protruding elements of men’s mountain trousers (e.g. buckles and hook-and-loop fasteners) and making sure they don’t catch on other clothing in the wash and damage it.

Outdoor trousers – not only for mountain trails

We’d almost forgotten the most important thing! ATTIQ mountain trousers are models that also work well during other outdoor activities – survival trips, gardening, at the allotment, in the forest, and walks in more challenging terrain.
