Ladies, are you looking for women’s cycling sweatshirts? We have them for you at ATTIQ. Before we take a closer look, here are a few important facts about how we make ATTIQ clothing.
Creating women’s cycling sweatshirts was not an easy task. We wanted to sew garments that would protect you properly from wind and cold (among other things, with the help of a silicone gripper that stops the fabric from riding up), but we realised that women’s body shapes vary greatly (mainly in bust size). So we had to choose materials that would flexibly fit the body and not distort the shape of the sweatshirt.
After many attempts and (above all!) field tests, we managed to create designs we are confident you will be safe in. Besides, comfort while riding matters too, right? That is provided by sweatshirts lined with a soft-to-the-touch material that gently wraps the skin.
Remember, however, that our women’s cycling sweatshirts are breathable and wick moisture away properly – the skin stays dry, and there’s no question of leaving it in unhygienic conditions that can cause inflammation.
We sewed our sweatshirts so you can wear them (ride in them) all year round without worry – including in winter, because it’s increasingly common for winters to be snowless. In summer, the sweatshirts are thin and airy enough that even keeping them on for longer won’t risk overheating.
In the transitional seasons, on the other hand, even though they’re relatively thin, they provide the right protection – from wind, from chill, and from overheating. So we designed women’s cycling sweatshirts to pair well with both shorts, leggings and thermal leggings – minimalist prints or “basic” colours made this much easier for us – and probably for you (putting outfits together) too, right?
As we mentioned, more and more people go out for cycling training in winter too (often in places where, just a few years ago, we would have thought it impossible not to have snow in December or January). So we sewed women’s cycling sweatshirts that can cope with really cold days.
Sweatshirts with added merino fibres (Merino Technowool) are:
- antibacterial – the skin stays in a safe, hygienic environment;
- warming when it’s cool,
- cooling when it’s warm,
- moisture-wicking (the skin stays dry) – riding is enjoyable despite high effort.
So you can confidently wear cycling sweatshirts for girls for winter training – they’re thin, so they will fit under a light jacket (without the fabric shifting) or an insulated gilet. We also stitched reflective materials into the sweatshirts – safety when doing sport is crucial, especially in winter, when it gets dark earlier and it’s harder to spot a cyclist.
We cut the pockets in the sweatshirts so that they’re easy to reach even while riding. You can fit a phone, card, documents or a small pepper spray in them – it’s worth thinking about safety more broadly, especially when you choose routes away from popular paths.
