MEN'S AGATE CYCLING SHORTS EXPERT 3.0 SERIES

Agate cycling shorts are part of the most popular Expert 3.0 series in the ATTIQ collection. Over many years of designing ATTIQ cycling apparel, the Expert series has undergone minor modifications, which means that from the very beginning it was successful and met all user needs.

Men's Agate cycling bib shorts are made from compressive Lycra. Lycra increases muscle efficiency by minimising vibrations, the risk of injury and micro-damage to muscles. Compressive Lycra speeds up recovery processes and reduces the feeling of fatigue, supports blood circulation and oxygenates muscles, accelerating the release of toxins. The traditional anti-slip elastic at the bottom of the legs has been replaced with a modern elastic, pressure-free cuff with printed silicone elements on the inside. The shorts feature a high-quality Italian Dolomiti pad.

In the Expert 3.0 series cycling shorts we improved the bib straps, changed the leg finish and replaced the pad. We also placed great emphasis on even greater elasticity of the flat seams. The mesh in the straps is soft and pleasant against the body. We finished the straps with an elastic binding that does not irritate the body even after a hard training session. Thanks to the high elasticity, size tolerance has increased (smaller size, taller person, long torsos). In the legs, we replaced the 7 cm cuff with a 4 cm, non-compressive silicone gripper band. As a result, we not only increased the range of size tolerance for the leg openings, but also maintained proper leg stability while reducing their weight.

We replaced the Italian foam pad with the long-distance EXC GEL gel pad.

Agate cycling shorts, due to the use of compressive Lycra, are very close-fitting. We do not recommend them for people who do not feel comfortable in very tight-fitting shorts.

EXC GEL pad details:

• intended use – medium and long distances 6-8h
• COVER – antibacterial knit, composition 81% polyester, 19% elastane with breathable, quick-drying properties
• TOP LAYER - elastic thin foam with small holes 3mm guarantees airflow and moisture wicking while riding; density 65 kg/m3, thickness 3 mm
• INNER LAYER – pad core - foam with small holes and gel ensures constant airflow, adapts to the user and guarantees freedom of movement while riding; density 90 kg/m3
• seamless construction prevents chafing
• perforation of all pad layers guarantees high breathability, quick evaporation of moisture and provides a feeling of freshness.

Pads may vary in colour and print depending on the delivery batch. The properties and thickness are the same.

SHORTS CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• hand wash or use a delicate programme at temperatures up to 30 ° C
• use non-aggressive, neutral detergents
• avoid fabric softeners, as they may reduce the loft of the foams
• when washing, do not mix light-coloured garments with dark garments
• the used garment should be washed immediately to avoid changes from sweat on the fabric
• avoid tumble drying or other devices that require treating garments with elevated temperature.
