MEN'S CYCLING SHORTS MORION RACE PRO 2.0 SERIES

Men's cycling shorts from the Race Pro 2.0 series have been improved and refined more than any other pair we produce. They are made from the highest quality materials and components for garment production. We thought hard, worked, and made changes to create shorts for the most demanding riders. That is why we recommend this series for those who are demanding and enjoy long distances.

Morion compression cycling shorts with bib straps are technical shorts made from matte, soft-to-the-touch compression Lycra and breathable mesh. The traditional anti-slip elastic at the bottom of the legs has been replaced with a modern, flexible, non-compressive cuff with printed silicone elements on the inside. In the bib section we used highly elastic mesh so that the straps stretch evenly along their entire length and can also adapt to longer torsos. Flat seams keep the shorts close to the body without the risk of chafing.

1. we replaced the base compression fabric with soft, matte compression Lycra with a classic smooth texture. The Lycra fits the body very well (like a second skin) while guaranteeing full freedom of movement, protects against UV radiation, breathes and dries quickly. Compression speeds up recovery processes and reduces the feeling of fatigue, supports blood circulation and oxygenates the muscles, accelerating the release of toxins.

2. the reduced number of seams minimises the risk of possible chafing, especially on hot days.

3. in the legs, we replaced the 7 cm cuff with a 4 cm, non-compressive silicone tape. This not only increased the tolerance range of the leg size but also maintained proper leg stability while reducing their weight.

We know perfectly well that over long distances, cycling shorts are only as good as the pad used in them. Therefore, in Race Pro shorts we used the Italian CARBON SHOCK ABSORPTION pad with the Shock Absorption Technology (S.A.T) shock absorption system. The system provides maximum protection by neutralising any negative vibrations generated when hitting the ground, distributing the pressure. Dissipation is over 80% of the energy generated as a result of impact.

Additionally, the top layer of the pad is covered with polyester with carbon fibres, which are responsible for discharging electrostatic charge. Coolmax fabric supports drying and moisture wicking.

Morion cycling shorts, due to the use of compression Lycra, are very close-fitting. We do not recommend them for people who do not feel comfortable in very tight-fitting shorts.

• COVER – antibacterial knit, composition 81% polyester, 19% elastane with breathable, quick-drying properties
• base foam density (front part of the pad) - 65kg/m3, thickness 3mm
• inner foam density (rear part of the pad) – 120 kg/m3, thickness 5 mm
• Shock Absorption Technology SAT system
• the inner foam is bonded to the SAT pad layer (memory foam - shock absorption technology), which guarantees excellent protection and appropriate cushioning for the rider
• anatomical shape that adapts to the body and provides great freedom of movement
• 4-way stretch fibres guarantee freedom of movement
• seamless system preventing chafing
• perforation of all pad layers guarantees high breathability, rapid moisture evaporation and provides a feeling of freshness
• use of carbon fibres responsible for discharging electrostatic charge.

Pads may vary in colour and print depending on the delivery batch. The properties and thickness are the same.

SHORTS CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• hand wash or with a gentle programme at temperatures up to 30 ° C
• use non-aggressive, neutral detergents
• avoid fabric softeners as they may reduce the loft of the foams
• when washing, do not combine light coloured clothes with dark clothes
• used clothing should be washed immediately to avoid changes from sweat on the fabric
• avoid tumble drying or other devices that require treating garments with elevated temperature.
