Men’s cycling jersey Merino Icon – NAVY

We are expanding our collection of cycling jerseys with ones made from merino wool. Joining it is the men’s Merino Icon cycling jersey – a fitted short-sleeve cycling jersey with a classic cut, understated colours and irreplaceable properties.

Let’s start with the cut: the Merino Icon cycling jersey was created from three panels, divided so that the seams joining them do not rub against sensitive areas of the body, and their number is as small as possible. The zip in the jersey is soft and conforms to the body. Don’t worry about chafing – we have backed the zip with fabric that isolates it from the body and additionally absorbs sweat that appears in this area (the protective placket is also made from fabric with added merino). We finished the zip with a silicone zip pull featuring the ATTIQ mark – silicone, just like on the jersey’s lower hem, prevents slipping. Thanks to this solution, you can easily unzip the jersey even with a damp hand.

Across the full width of the jersey at the back – around the lumbar spine area – we have sewn in a deep pocket with two compartments. The pockets are finished with elastic bound with fabric. The pockets are smooth (no print) and in the same colour. When empty, they become virtually invisible.

We applied the lettering on the jersey in its upper part – around the neckline. It is minimalist and complements the whole.

The merino wool we chose to use in the men’s Merino Icon cycling jersey is a material that performs brilliantly in summer too. It is famous for the properties loved by athletes: it dries quickly, instantly wicks moisture away, maintains the right body temperature (cools in summer, warms in winter), does not absorb odours, and is the best choice for people with delicate and atopic skin; it is also often chosen by allergy sufferers. The addition of sporty polyester and elastane means the jersey gains better technical performance and a longer lifespan. It is stretchy, fits the body and its movements better, but above all it becomes more durable – the delicate wool fibres are reinforced. Although – as those who choose merino know – garments with this fibre always need care, those reinforced with synthetic material cope better with washing, transport and any potential abrasion.

The Icon Merino cycling jersey is a minimalist in form (we would even say “referencing the classics”) jersey with excellent technical performance. The solid colour makes it easy to pair with other elements of your cycling wardrobe – it looks great with black, red, white. It is a “gem” for those who look for natural fibres, simple forms and muted colours in sportswear.

Important! Merino wool is a natural fibre and has many advantages such as antibacterial properties, softness, excellent breathability and thermoregulation, but it is also a very delicate fibre that requires special care. To extend the life of the jersey, pay particular attention to the good fit of your backpack, as well as the presence of sharp elements of clothing such as: Velcro, tapes or camera straps - so that they do not rub against the jersey.

How to care for the product: Machine wash at 30 degrees, do not bleach, can be ironed at a low temperature. To prolong durability, wash in laundry bags designed for washing. Do not wash with products that may cause mechanical damage (Velcro, buckles etc).
