Men's RANGER cycling shorts with bib braces

Men's Ranger shorts are cycling shorts that we designed with professionals in mind, or people who spend considerably more time on a bike than the average rider. Races and truly long rides are the circumstances in which the shorts will show their full potential.

Ranger cycling shorts are a completely new model, not referring to any of our previous cycling collections. We wanted to create the most universal cycling shorts possible, with a classic cut, minimalist finish and… we think we managed it!

We sewed the Ranger cycling shorts from four panels: the front and back with a raised waist, the bib braces, and the side panel. In the side panel we stitched in wide pockets – they will hold everything up to the size of the wearer's hand for the given size – we increase the pocket area proportionally as the size increases. At the end of the pockets there is an elastic tape that prevents the contents from falling out.

The front and back of the shorts are extended. We wanted the fabric to additionally protect the lower back and stomach – not only against chafing, but also against cool air and moisture. We made the bib braces from an openwork tape that stretches only front-to-back. This solution means the braces adapt perfectly to the body shape – they stay in place. We finished the leg ends on the Ranger cycling shorts with a non-compressive cuff made of elastic mesh-structured tape. On the inside, in spots – to provide extra breathability and airflow – we applied silicone to the cuff. It prevents the leg from riding up and keeps it close to the body. Around the leg ends there is a reflective print.

We made the men's Ranger cycling shorts from compressive, breathable polyamide with an addition of elastic fibres. The fabric stretches in four directions – it works with the body and its movements – like a second skin. The light compression provided by lycra protects muscles from micro-injuries, speeds up blood circulation, oxygenates tissues – giving a body tired from effort extra support. Compression is a pleasant experience – athletes praise it highly and point to it as a desirable feature in cycling clothing.

Just as the cut of the shorts is important, the cycling pad is equally important. In the compressive Ranger cycling shorts, as in our popular Race Pro 2.0 model, we used the Italian CARBON SHOCK ABSORPTION pad with the Shock Absorption Technology (S.A.T) shock-absorption system. The system provides maximum protection by neutralising any vibrations created when hitting the ground, distributing their pressure. The dissipation is over 80% of the energy generated by impact. Additionally, the top part of the pad is covered with polyester with carbon fibres, which are responsible for discharging electrostatic charge. Coolmax fabric supports drying and moisture wicking.

Ranger cycling shorts are made from compressive lycra. Thanks to the high elastane content, when wearing the shorts you do not feel the fibre pressure as in classic compression clothing. People who do not like compressive pressure can definitely try compression with this shorts model.
