Men’s Taiga Polartec Alpha Gilet – Copper

The Polartec Alpha gilet consists of two parts: the main section – insulating the chest and back – and flexible inserts sewn into the sides – thanks to them it fits the body perfectly and moves with you. We’ve added two really deep pockets fastened with a flat zip, plus a large internal one – it will fit a phone (this trick – keeping your phone close to your body – is useful in serious frost, which lowers battery levels). The gilet is finished with a stand-up collar that protects the neck and nape from the wind.

When creating the Polartec Alpha Gilet, our aim was to achieve the best possible warmth-to-weight ratio the fabric can offer. The outer part of the gilet (protecting the torso and back) is made from fabric produced using Ripstop technology (similar to that used in the manufacture of mountain hammocks and down jackets); the inside of the gilet is an elastic mesh studded with pleasant-to-the-touch insulating Polartec Alpha lofted fibres. The stretchy side inserts are made from warm Thermo Pro knitwear that wicks moisture away and adapts to body movement.

We wanted the gilet to be suitable both for demanding mountain routes, running and cycling, and also to blend cleverly into an urban-sport style. I think we’ve got it, right?

At ATTIQ we believe it’s possible to create timeless clothing. We sew our collections so they pair well with sportswear in different colours and prints. ATTIQ clothing is made in our workshop in the south of Poland. We sew using materials from the European Union.
