Men’s Taiga Primaloft Active Gilet – Gold

The men’s Taiga Primaloft gilet consists of two parts: the main section – insulating the chest and back – and elastic inserts sewn into the sides. Thanks to them, it fits the body perfectly and moves with you. We stitched in two really deep pockets fastened with a flat zip, plus a large internal one – it will fit a phone (this trick – keeping your phone close to the body – comes in handy during hard frosts, which reduce battery level). The gilet is finished with a stand-up collar that protects the neck and nape from the wind.

When creating the Taiga Primaloft gilet, we wanted to achieve the best possible warmth-to-weight ratio a material can provide. We made the outer part of the gilet (protecting the torso and back) from fabric produced using Ripstop technology (similar is used in the production of mountain hammocks and down jackets). The inside of the gilet is an elastic mesh studded with pleasant-to-the-touch insulating Primaloft squares from the Active EVOLVE series. The elastic side inserts of the gilet are sewn from warm Thermo Pro knitwear that wicks moisture and adapts to body movements.

We wanted the gilet to be suitable both for solid mountain routes, running and cycling, but also to fit neatly into an urban-sport style. I think we’ve got it, right?
