Men’s Hoodie Taiga ProTech – Gold

The Pro Tech Taiga hoodie is one of those designs where we make changes not because we should, but because you ask us to – athletes, customers. You gave us a few interesting comments which we included in the new version of the Pro Tech hoodie.

Pro Tech Taiga has everything that should be in a solid thermoactive running hoodie: an anatomical cut, well-shaped sleeves finished with a thumb hole, deep pockets and a hood for wind and a change in the weather. The upgraded Pro Tech is definitely lighter than its predecessor and enhanced with bold, energetic prints. The hood in this model is, in a way, a separate part of the hoodie – putting it on does not change the position of the collar – it does not pull it up.

We wanted the hoodie, in addition to its thermal insulation properties, to be resistant to light rain, wind and pleasant to the touch. We made it from two types of fabric – the first, made of a waterproof and breathable membrane, protects the chest, back and shoulders (the areas that give off the most heat); the second – inserted at the sides and on the sleeves – is a flexible and soft Thermo Pro knit, which adapts to body movements, making the hoodie practically imperceptible. The whole thing is finished with “mesh” microfleece – an extremely delicate and pleasant material that additionally warms the body.

In both this version of the hoodie and its predecessor, we focused on the details. We designed them so that they really look good on the body. We stitched in reverse (flat) zips that do not deform in motion. We finished the thumb holes with a sturdy yet soft elastic that does not pill despite repeated rubbing. Size information, instead of on a sewn-in label, was applied with durable sublimation printing directly onto the fabric. The hoodie has a slightly extended back, which shields the lower back from the wind and does not ride up under a backpack.

Taiga Pro Tech works great as a so-called second layer. Fans of cross-country skiing, running and trekking will appreciate it. Urban outdoor enthusiasts will like it not only for its properties, but also for the interesting combination of bold colours and Taiga prints referencing the rugged forests of Eurasia. In an urban version, the hoodie looks good, for example, with basic jeans.
