Men’s GRANITE PRO Running Shorts

Granite men’s Pro shorts are now the third version of our mountain running shorts. Previous batches sold out in the blink of an eye, especially when we took them with us to exhibitions during trail races. Before we tell you about what’s new, a few basics about Granite Pro. These shorts consist of two layers – an inner layer that replaces underwear, made from breathable mesh – and an outer layer made from durable, lightweight and stain-resistant polyamide. The material used, designed for sewing heavily used garments – for triathlon or mountain running – although lightweight, is resistant to damage, pilling and abrasion.

The shorts are finished with a wide elastic waistband that acts as a running belt. Along its entire length we’ve sewn in pockets: open ones – where you can easily stash, for example, gels – and zip-fastened ones – for items that mustn’t get lost on the route.

Granite Pro men’s shorts were designed so that with every next kilometre of your run, you still won’t feel them on your body. We used flat seams and shifted them so sensitive areas aren’t exposed to chafing. The inner mesh serves as underwear and also ensures body contours don’t show through the fabric.

At the waist we’ve sewn in narrow drawcords with silicone tips – you can freely adjust the width of the shorts with them. Granite Pro have extended inner legs made of durable mesh – this is extra protection for the skin against chafing and mud.

The colourway was chosen for versatility when pairing them with other clothing items. The shorts are robust, will last a long time, and on darker colours it’s harder to spot signs of long-term use.

Mountain runners are a wonderful community. Thanks to their valuable tips and feedback, the ATTIQ Team introduced the following changes:

• we added elastic that acts as a running belt,

• we lengthened the inner leg,

• we changed the fabric of the inner leg – the new one (mesh) is lighter and even more breathable.
