Men's shorts Alfa Compress

And now something for fans of “ups and downs” – loosely translated as sporting highs and lows, or uphill and downhill runs, i.e. ultra running. Alfa Pro shorts are running shorts that will perform brilliantly during them.

We made the Alfa Pro women’s shorts, like most trousers for mountain running, in an above-the-knee length. They fit snugly to the body and provide pressure (compression) that mobilises the muscles to work. The running shorts are finished with an elastic rubber cuff, lined with silicone on the inside. On the outside we added the ATTIQ logo. On the side of the shorts, at a standard height, we stitched in mesh pockets and finished them with elastic. The pockets will hold a phone or energy gels. We also stitched an additional pocket at the back – this one is secured with a zip, with a puller that stays in place while you run to the finish – the puller doesn’t “click” when moving. We also added reflectives, so the pocket will protect you twice over: firstly it will mark your presence on the route, secondly you can safely put your phone or documents in it.

At the front, at the bottom of the legs – above the knees – we stitched in anti-slip panels with a silicone pattern. They are used to rest your hands on during climbs and uphill runs. The silicone holds sweaty hands in place so they don’t slide along the leg and makes uphill running easier.

We sewed the running shorts from a substantial, thicker yet breathable, quick-drying sports polyamide. It hugs the body and feels pleasantly cooling against the skin. The Alfa Pro women’s shorts have no additional lining, so they wick moisture even better. Due to the “rawness” of the material, we opted for flat seams that don’t protrude above the fabric, don’t chafe the body and don’t irritate it.

At the waist we gathered the shorts with a wide elastic band sewn on in reverse compared to what is usually done: on the inside we lined it with fabric, and at the front we left it raw, with an embossed ATTIQ logo and lettering. Firstly: we liked this kind of “twist”; secondly: it was important to us that the elastic didn’t have direct contact with the skin at the waist, which could cause discomfort. From the tunnel by the elastic we brought out a drawcord finished with a silicone element – this is additional adjustment of the shorts’ width.

Alfa Pro compression shorts are shorts designed as clothing for competitions and high-intensity training. Will they also work for those who are just starting their “ultra” adventure? Yes, although models from a slightly lower price range will also do perfectly well.

One of the key advantages of the Alfa Compress Pro model is its functionality. On the back of the shorts there is a zip pocket where you can store small items such as keys, documents or a phone without worrying about accidentally losing them. Additionally, mesh pockets are placed on the sides, ideal for quickly reaching for energy gels or other accessories useful during training or races. The whole thing retains a sporty character, while also looking modern thanks to the black colour with a subtle pattern. The waistband not only stabilises the shorts, but also adds an original visual accent.

The combination of all these features makes Alfa Compress Pro shorts an essential part of every sports enthusiast’s wardrobe. The compression material supports muscle function, reduces micro-injuries and speeds up recovery, which translates into better results and greater comfort during prolonged effort
