Men's Phoenix Compress Shorts

Technical PHOENIX COMPRESS running shorts are made from compression lycra, which increases muscle performance by minimising vibrations, the risk of injury and muscle micro-damage. Compression lycra supports recovery processes and reduces the sensation of fatigue. It also supports blood circulation and muscle oxygenation. The technical fibres are resistant to deformation and to UV radiation. The legs are finished with a non-restrictive mesh cuff, and the pockets allow you to stash essential small items.

Men's Phoenix shorts are tight, compression running shorts above the knee. We like to say they cling to the body as firmly as runners should stick to their training plans (i.e. very firmly). We’ve sewn three pockets into the shorts: two at the sides and one at the back – at waist height. The side pockets are large – you can fit a hand in them. It’s a good place for energy gels. The rear pocket will fit a phone, payment card or a case for wireless earphones. It is secured with a zip whose puller doesn’t move – there’s no annoying “click” with every movement.

At the waist of the Phoenix shorts, we’ve sewn in an elastic band with the ATTIQ logo embossed on the outside, and on the inside we’ve added extra elastic drawcords with a silicone tip. This provides an additional option for adjusting the shorts at the waist. The legs of the shorts are finished with an elastic cuff. We made it from breathable and flexible mesh. On the inside, the cuff has been spot-bonded with silicone, which prevents the fabric from shifting and the legs riding up during a run. The cuff has a clean cut finish, which means there is no turn-up. We used a minimal number of seams and stitches in the shorts. The necessary ones are flat, to protrude from the fabric as little as possible – thanks to this they are imperceptible against the body.

Phoenix shorts are compression shorts. Soft, 4-way stretch lycra fibres guarantee lightness and a perfect fit to the body. The smooth surface of the fabric means that when placed against the skin it creates a cooling effect. The fabric texture with an applied embossed pattern appears in the right light, as do the inscriptions on the elastic bands – this is our subtle way of drawing attention to the shorts. The colourful cuffs pair well with clothing from other ATTIQ collections and from other manufacturers.
