Thermo Base Neck Gaiter

The Thermo Base neck gaiter is lightweight and made from a stretch fabric (polyamide, polyester, elastane) that protects well against cold and chilling during running, trail or cycling. The thermal knit with a “fleece-like” structure on the inside traps warm air, while the outer finish in the form of a fine texture supports moisture wicking, reducing the risk of overheating.

The Thermo Base thermoregulating neck gaiter is a black tube measuring about 24 cm wide and 49 cm long, which comfortably wraps around the neck, but can also be worn as a light lower face cover or as a thin hat. The smooth, minimalist design is complemented by a discreet label with the ATTIQ logo, making it easy to match the gaiter with other pieces from the Thermo Base collection and technical, sports clothing.

The gaiter is made from a stretch, thermal knit combining polyamide, polyester and elastane, which provides very good thermal insulation while maintaining high breathability and fit around the neck. The brushed “fleece-like” inner side creates a soft nap against the skin that stabilises temperature and protects against chilling in windy, cold conditions, while the outer fine dotted texture supports moisture wicking during intense exertion.

A flat seam minimises the risk of irritation and does not cause pressure under a jacket, sweatshirt, hood or helmet, which runners, cyclists and mountain enthusiasts appreciate.

The Thermo Base thermoregulating neck gaiter usually works well for medium- and high-intensity activity in the range of roughly about +10°C to about -5°C (depending on exercise intensity and individual sensitivity to cold).
