Thermo Base snood-hat
Lightweight, thermo-active Thermo Base snood-hat is a multifunctional head and neck cover, recommended for cool and winter days. You can wear it as a snood, a hat by tightening the top edge with the drawstring, or as a cover for the lower part of the face when running, trekking or cycling.
Thermo Base snood-hat takes the form of a compact, black tube with a subtle surface texture, finished at the top with a channel featuring a drawstring and stopper, which lets you turn the snood into a hat in one move or adjust how closely it fits your head.
The minimalist design is complemented by a small, leather ATTIQ logo label placed by the lower edge, so the product suits both highly technical and more understated sports outfits.
Snood-hat is made from an elastic fabric that combines polyamide, polyester and elastane, providing very good thermal insulation while maintaining stretch and a close fit to the head and neck. Brushed on the inside, the “fleece-like” structure creates a soft nap against the skin that traps a layer of warm air, stabilises muscle temperature and protects against getting chilled in windy, cold conditions.
The outer side of the fabric has a structure of embossed tiny dots that help wick away excess moisture from the skin even during intense exertion.
Thermo Base snood-hat typically works well from around +10°C to around -5°C with medium to high-intensity activity (running, trail, cycling, ski touring). The stated range is indicative and depends on exercise intensity and individual sensitivity to cold.
