Men's Triathlon Suit HYDRA PRO TRI

The introduction of the triathlon suit into regular sales was “forced” on us by our customers. Although we had previously made custom triathlon suits, for a long time we resisted including them in the ATTIQ collections. Such a project requires special solutions, the preparation of which takes many months. Finally – after really solid conceptual and technical work – we decided we were ready.

Most importantly, the triathlon suit, Hydra Pro Tri, has an aerodynamic cut. It is built from body-hugging shorts with a raised waist and a full-length zip top. This solution is the result of analysing the positions athletes adopt when practising triathlon sports – swimming, running and cycling. Because triathlon involves three different activities and, therefore, varied needs, we could not simply adopt solutions we know from creating clothing for other sports. They required modification. The “new” feature, i.e. a full-length zip top connected to the shorts only at the back and sides, is intentionally something different from a cycling jersey – this is a practical solution. Thanks to fully unzipping and “freeing” the fabric (i.e. changing its tension and how it sits on the body), it does not pull tight, does not chafe the body, does not fold at the zip; the suit remains fitted and works well in motion during each of the three sports.

In the Hydr Pro Tri triathlon suit we introduced mesh zones to further enhance ventilation. We placed them on the sides, on the back and under the arms. We also took care of people who swim in triathlon suits. In the model we created, we used a non-water-absorbing material (it feels like a breathable yet water-impermeable second skin). After leaving the lake or pool, the suit dries quickly – this solution provides comfort for the subsequent stages of the triathlon, but also protects against infections. This protection is also supported by the perforated pad – a triathlon one – ensuring hygienic conditions for the body on the way to further achievements.

The Hydra Pro Tri triathlon suit is sewn from a quick-drying, lightweight fabric that conforms to the body. During sport it becomes a second skin. It works like lycra, but it absolutely is not – lycra gives a feeling of coolness, whereas the fabric in the Hydra Pro Tri suit protects the body against getting chilled and really pleasantly “hugs” it.

After many years since introducing our first custom triathlon suit, we created a model available for regular sale. This is a bold step for us, but one we are confident about. The creation of the Hydra Pro Tri triathlon suit is the result of many weeks of work by designers, clothing pattern makers, seamstresses and athletes. Material composition: Polyamide 79% Recycled micro, Elastane 21%

How to care for the product:

- hand wash or on a delicate programme at temperatures up to 30 ° C

- use non-aggressive, neutral detergents

- avoid fabric softeners as they may reduce the buoyancy of neoprene

- when washing, do not combine light-coloured garments with dark garments

- used clothing should be washed immediately to avoid changes from sweat on the fabric

- avoid tumble drying or other devices that require treating clothing with elevated temperature.

Triathlon pad details:

- intended use – long and middle distances (8 h)

- COVER – antibacterial knit, composition 81% polyester, 19% elastane with breathable, quick-drying properties

- additional perforation allows the pad to dry quickly after swimming and helps avoid chafing and irritation during cycling and running

- 4-way stretch fibres guarantee freedom of movement

- foam density – 65 kg/m3, single foam density 6 mm which provides excellent protection and at the same time incredible flexibility.

Pads may vary in colour and print depending on the delivery batch. The properties and thickness are the same.
