Comfort is not only good equipment, a comfortable saddle and functional gadgets. Clothing matters too. Autumn and winter are not easy for maintaining thermal comfort. In October we can have a real winter and in January spring can "surprise" us. That is why folk wisdom says: dress like an onion, i.e. in layers.

Women's Tecno Wind cycling gilet was made in line with the modern cycling trend, i.e. a combination of a classic cycling cut + innovative materials. The cycling gilet is an accessory that does its job but does not weigh the outfit down.

Women's Tecno Wind cycling gilet is light and compact (fits into a medium-sized pocket). The ergonomic construction perfectly complements the body's movements while riding. The front and back (neck) are made of a membrane, which provides protection from the wind, especially on descents. On climbs, air circulation and protection against overheating are provided by the ventilation panel on the back. At the front, the gilet has a long YKK zip, which makes it easy to unzip quickly, put on and take off, and if necessary will aid ventilation. Two easily accessible pockets on the back + a waterproof pocket (for valuables) will easily hold essential kit and guarantee unrestricted access to the things you need. The bottom of the gilet is finished with an elastic cuff with a silicone print to prevent the gilet from riding up, and the extended back protects your back from getting chilled. More reflective elements in the form of discreet graphite prints incorporated into the design of the jersey (front and back at the neck: ATTIQ logo, plus a print on the pockets at the back) will further increase your visibility and safety.

Women's Tecno Wind cycling gilet can be used during warm-ups, starts on cold days, or can serve as an insulating layer for the Teco Therm Ultimate 2.0 cycling jacket or the Tecno Light cycling jacket. The gilet fabric has been coated with a durable hydrophobic finish (DWR). DWR acts as an invisible first line of defence in wet conditions, and when functioning properly causes moisture to bead on the surface of the fabric and be shed quickly. The DWR finish deteriorates over time and will need to be refreshed. A simple way to check the DWR finish of clothing is to lightly spray it with water and see whether the water beads off or is absorbed by the material. If the fabric "wets out", it is time to revive the DWR finish. When it is time to refresh the DWR finish, it is recommended to use a top-up product such as Nikwax® TX.Direct Wash-In or TX.Direct Spray-On.

Gilet care

Secure all zips and fastenings.

Machine wash on a warm setting (110 ° F / 40 ° C) using a high-performance cleaner such as Nikwax® Tech Wash.

If you choose to use a conventional liquid laundry detergent, we recommend a second rinse to remove any detergent residue from the fabric.

Can be tumble-dried on a low heat setting to rejuvenate the garment's durable water-repellent (DWR) finish.

Do not use fabric softeners, bleach or stain-removal products, and never dry clean the garment.

We do not recommend using an iron to rejuvenate the DWR finish, as an iron that is too hot can irreversibly damage the fabric.
