Women’s Tecno Wind cycling jacket
All of us like to spend time pleasantly and comfortably. We appreciate those comfortable moments even more, with our heads in the clouds as we pedal onwards. Comfort is not only good equipment, a comfortable saddle and functional gadgets. Clothing matters too. Autumn and winter are not easy for maintaining thermal comfort. In October we can have a real winter, and in January spring can "surprise" us. That’s why the old saying goes: dress like an onion, i.e. in layers.
The Tecno collection by ATTIQ is cycling clothing for cold days or transitional seasons. This collection was designed with comfort, performance and functionality in mind. In the Tecno collection we offer further layers of clothing that you can combine freely depending on your needs, e.g.: a long-sleeve cycling jersey, a cycling sweatshirt, a cycling gilet and a cycling jacket (windbreaker), cycling warmers, cycling trousers.
Women’s Tecno Wind cycling jacket combines "the old with the new", i.e. a classic, versatile cycling cut and a functional technical fabric. The cycling jacket is made from a membrane with a DWR coating, which provides durable protection from wind and rain (a feature especially valuable on descents). At the front, the women’s cycling jacket has a long YKK zip, which makes it easy to unzip quickly, put on and take off, and when needed it will aid ventilation (e.g. on a climb). The ergonomic construction perfectly matches body movements while riding. The extended back of the jacket and the high stand-up collar help maintain an optimal temperature on cold and rainy days. The cycling jacket serves as an outer layer without increasing the overall weight of your outfit. Discreet reflective elements placed on the front and back of the jacket guarantee visibility. The jacket is made entirely from grey material, so it’s easy to keep clean even after the muddiest routes.
The technical material from which the women’s cycling jacket is made has a hydrophobic finish (DWR). DWR acts as an invisible first line of defence in wet conditions, and when working properly it causes moisture to bead on the surface of the fabric and drain away quickly. The DWR finish deteriorates over time and will need refreshing. A simple way to check the DWR finish on clothing is to lightly spray it with water and see whether the water runs off or is absorbed by the material. If the fabric "wets out", it’s time to revive the DWR finish. When it’s time to refresh the DWR treatment, it is recommended to use a top-up product such as Nikwax® TX.Direct Wash-In or TX.Direct Spray-On.
Cycling jacket care
1.Secure all zips and fastenings.
2.Machine wash warm (110 ° F / 40 ° C) using a high-performance cleaner such as Nikwax® Tech Wash,.
3.If you choose to use a conventional liquid laundry detergent, we recommend a second rinse to remove any traces of detergent from the fabric.
4.Tumble dry using a low heat setting to rejuvenate the garment’s durable water repellent finish (DWR).
5.Do not use fabric softeners, bleaches or stain removal products, and never dry clean the garment.
6. We do not recommend using an iron to rejuvenate the DWR finish, as an iron that is too hot may irreversibly damage the fabric.
