Women’s cycling jersey Merino Icon – GRAY

We are expanding our cycling jersey collection with those made from merino wool. Joining it is the women’s Merino Icon cycling jersey – a fitted short-sleeve cycling jersey with a classic cut, understated colours and irreplaceable properties.

Let’s start with the cut: the Merino Icon cycling jersey has been made from three panels, divided so that the seams that join them don’t rub against sensitive areas of the body, and their number is as small as possible. The zip on the jersey is soft and adapts to the body. Don’t worry about chafing – we have backed the zip with a fabric that isolates it from the body and additionally absorbs sweat that appears in this area (the protective placket is also made from fabric with added merino). We finished the zip with a silicone zip puller with the ATTIQ mark – silicone, as with the lower hem of the jersey, prevents slipping. Thanks to this solution, you’ll be able to unzip the jersey without any problem even with a damp hand.

Across the full width of the back of the jersey – around the lumbar section of the spine – we have sewn in a deep pocket with two compartments. The pockets are finished with elastic bound with fabric. The pockets are smooth (without print) and in the same colour. When empty, they become practically invisible.

We placed the lettering on the upper part of the jersey – around the neckline. It is minimalist and complements the whole.

The merino wool that we decided to use in the women’s Merino Icon cycling jersey is a material that works brilliantly in summer too. It is famous for properties loved by athletes: it dries quickly, instantly wicks moisture away, maintains the right body temperature (cools in summer, warms in winter), does not absorb odours, it is the best choice for people with delicate and atopic skin, and is often also chosen by allergy sufferers. The addition of performance polyester and elastane means the jersey gains better technical properties and a longer lifespan. It is stretchy, fits the body and its movements better, but above all becomes more durable – the delicate wool fibres are reinforced. Although – as those who choose merino know – garments containing this fibre always require care, those reinforced with synthetic material tolerate washing, transport and any potential abrasion better.

The Icon Merino cycling jersey is a streamlined (we would even say “classic-inspired”) jersey with excellent technical properties. The solid colour makes it easy to pair with other elements of your cycling wardrobe – it looks great with black, red and white. It’s a “gem” for people who look for natural fibres, simple forms and muted colours in sportswear.

Important! Merino wool is a natural fibre and has many advantages such as antibacterial properties, softness, excellent breathability and thermoregulatory capabilities, however it is a very delicate fibre that requires special care. To extend the life of the jersey, pay particular attention to ensuring a good backpack fit, as well as the presence of sharp elements of clothing such as: Velcro, tapes or camera straps – so that they do not rub against the jersey.

How to care for the product: Machine wash at 30 degrees, do not bleach, can be ironed at a low temperature. To extend durability, wash in bags intended for washing. Do not wash with products that may cause mechanical damage (Velcro, buckles etc.).
