Women's cycling jersey Merino Icon – NAVY

We are expanding our cycling jersey collection with models made from merino wool. Joining it is the women's Merino Icon cycling jersey – a fitted, short-sleeve cycling jersey with a classic cut, understated colours and irreplaceable properties.

Let’s start with the cut: the Merino Icon cycling jersey is made from three panels, arranged so that the seams joining them do not rub against sensitive areas of the body, and their number is kept to a minimum. The zip in the jersey is soft and adapts to the body. Don’t worry about chafing – we have backed the zip with a fabric that isolates it from the body and additionally absorbs sweat that appears in this area (the protective flap is also made from a fabric with added merino). We finished the zip with a silicone puller featuring the ATTIQ mark – silicone, just like on the jersey’s lower hem, prevents slipping. Thanks to this solution, you will be able to unzip the jersey without any problem even with a damp hand.

Across the full width of the jersey at the back – around the lumbar spine area – we have sewn in a deep pocket with two compartments. The pockets are finished with elastic bound in fabric. The pockets are smooth (no print) and in the same colour. When not filled, they become practically invisible.

We applied the lettering to the upper part of the jersey – around the neckline. It is minimalist and complements the whole.

The merino wool we decided to use in the women's Merino Icon cycling jersey is a material that works brilliantly in summer too. It is famous for the properties loved by athletes: it dries quickly, instantly wicks moisture away, maintains the right body temperature (cools in summer, warms in winter), does not absorb odours, and is the best choice for people with delicate and atopic skin; it is also often chosen by allergy sufferers. The addition of performance polyester and elastane gives the jersey better technical properties and a longer lifespan. It is elastic, fits the body and its movements better, but above all it becomes more durable – the delicate wool fibres are reinforced. Although – as those who choose merino know – garments with this fibre always need care, those reinforced with synthetic material withstand washing, transport and potential abrasion better.

The Icon Merino cycling jersey is a pared-back (we would even say “classic-inspired”) jersey with excellent technical properties. The solid colour makes it easy to pair with other elements of your cycling wardrobe – it looks great with black, red and white. It is a “gem” for those who look for natural fibres, simple forms and muted colours in sportswear.

Important! Merino wool is a natural fibre and has many advantages such as antibacterial properties, softness, excellent breathability and thermoregulatory abilities; however, it is a very delicate fibre that requires special care. To extend the life of the jersey, pay particular attention to a good backpack fit, as well as the presence of sharp elements of clothing such as: hook-and-loop fasteners, tapes or camera straps – so that they do not rub against the jersey.

How to care for the product: Machine wash at 30 degrees, do not bleach, can be ironed at a low temperature. To prolong durability, wash in laundry bags intended for washing. Do not wash with products that may cause mechanical damage (hook-and-loop fasteners, buckles etc.).
