RANGER women’s cycling shorts with bib straps

Ranger women’s shorts are cycling shorts designed with professionals in mind, or people who spend significantly more time on a bike than the average cyclist. Races and truly long routes are the circumstances in which these shorts will show their full potential.

Ranger cycling shorts are a completely new model, with no reference to our previous cycling collections. We wanted to create cycling shorts that are as versatile as possible, with a classic cut, minimalist finishing and… we think we’ve managed it!

We sewed Ranger cycling shorts from four panels: the front and back with a higher waist, the straps and a side panel. We stitched wide pockets into the side panel – they will fit anything about the size of the wearer’s hand for a given size – we increase the pocket area proportionally as the size increases. At the end of the pockets there is an elastic tape that protects the contents from falling out.

The front and back of the shorts are extended. We wanted the fabric to additionally protect the lower back and abdomen – not only from chafing, but also from cold air and moisture. We sewed the straps from an openwork tape that stretches only front-to-back. This solution means the straps adapt perfectly to the body shape – they stay in place. The legs on Ranger cycling shorts are finished with a pressure-free cuff made from elastic mesh-structure tape. On the inside, we applied silicone in spots – to provide additional breathability and airflow – to the cuff. It prevents the leg from riding up and keeps it close to the body. There is reflective print around the legs.

Ranger women’s cycling shorts are made from compressive, breathable polyamide with the addition of elastic fibres. The fabric stretches in four directions – it works with the body and its movements – like a second skin. The light pressure provided by the lycra protects muscles from micro-injuries, speeds up blood circulation, oxygenates tissues – giving a body tired from exertion additional support. Compression is a pleasant experience – athletes praise it highly and point to it as desirable in cycling apparel.

Just as the cut of the shorts is important, the cycling pad is equally important. In the compressive Ranger cycling shorts, just like in our popular Race Pro 2.0 model, we used the Italian CARBON SHOCK ABSORPTION pad with the Shock Absorption Technology (S.A.T) shock absorption system. The system provides maximum protection by neutralising any vibrations created during impact with the ground, distributing their pressures. The dispersion is over 80% of the energy generated by the impact. Additionally, the top layer of the pad is covered with polyester with carbon fibres responsible for discharging electrostatic charge. Coolmax material supports drying and moisture wicking.

Ranger cycling shorts are made from compressive lycra. Thanks to the high elastane content, when wearing the shorts you do not feel the fibre pressure as in classic compression clothing. People who do not like compression pressure can definitely try compression with this shorts model.
