A few words about how merino fibres work and why they are so special. Wool fibres are soft and very fine, which means they can twist tightly. The twisting of the fibres creates a huge number of small air pockets in which air is trapped—and as we know, air is an excellent heat insulator. In this way we use our own energy and keep warm with the heat produced by our body. Besides the fact that, when needed, the women’s leggings maintain a comfortable temperature (provide warmth), on warm days they transport excess moisture away (in the form of vapour).
