Women’s running and cycling gilet Morpho DVALPINE LITE

The Morpho running collection is designed for the whole year. As well as lightweight, summer items, the collection also includes something for autumn chills and extra insulation for winter running and cycling. We have all found that clothing is particularly important when running in cooler and less sunny times of the year. Autumn and winter are not easy when it comes to maintaining thermal comfort. That’s why folk wisdom says: dress like an onion, i.e. in layers.

To your Morpho summer running set you can add several warmer items, e.g. the warm Morpho hooded running hoodie, Morpho running tights, and the Morpho DVALPINE LITE running gilet Mopho. The Morpho DVALPINE LITE gilet is an accessory that does its job without being a burden. It can be used during rides, warm-ups, race starts on cool days, or as an insulating layer over the Morpho running hoodie or a cycling jersey. For greater comfort, the gilet is divided into a front ww - protect (water and wind) protection zone and a rear dp (deep breathability) ventilation zone. The protection zone is made from breathable, waterproof Event DVALPINE membrane that protects against wind and rain. A durable sublimation print is applied to the two-layer membrane. The ventilation zone is made from thin mesh with a “small diamond” structure to help wick away moisture.

Women’s running-cycling gilet with membrane Morpho DVALPINE LITE fits the body perfectly. The front and back (nape) are made from EVENT membrane, providing protection from wind and rain. On climbs and ascents, air circulation and protection against overheating are provided by the ventilation panel on the back. At the front, the gilet features a long YKK zip, making it easy to unzip quickly, put on and take off, and when needed it supports ventilation. The two outer pockets are finished with elastic to prevent items from falling out, while the middle waterproof zipped pocket protects valuables (phone, watch, etc.) from loss and damage. The bottom of the gilet is finished with an elastic cuff with a silicone print to prevent the gilet riding up. A reflective element on the rear pockets further increases your visibility and safety.

The Morpho DVALPINE LITE running gilet meets three core runner requirements: it looks good, more importantly it’s good, and most importantly it’s comfortable and functional.

The gilet also works отлично on the bike and, because it meets the needs of both cyclists and runners, we also recommend it for triathlon.

Care for outerwear made from eVent® materials - the original fabric care instructions are available on the material manufacturer’s website http://www.eventfabrics.com/fabric-care
1. Secure all zips and closures.
2. Machine wash warm (110 ° F / 40 ° C) using a high-performance cleaner such as Nikwax® Tech Wash,.
3. If you choose to use a conventional liquid laundry detergent, we recommend a second rinse to remove any traces of detergent from the fabric.
4. Tumble dry using a low heat setting to rejuvenate the garment’s durable water repellent (DWR) finish.
5. Do not use fabric softeners, bleach or stain removers, and never dry clean the garment.
6. We do not recommend using an iron to rejuvenate the DWR finish, as an iron that is too hot may irreversibly damage the fabric.

The fabric of the running gilet has been treated with a durable water repellent (DWR) finish. DWR acts as an invisible first line of defence in wet conditions and, when functioning correctly, causes moisture to bead on the surface of the fabric and shed quickly. The DWR finish will deteriorate over time and will need refreshing. A simple way to check the DWR finish of a garment is to lightly spray it with water and see whether the water beads off or is absorbed by the material. If the fabric “wets out”, it’s time to revive the DWR finish. When it’s time to refresh the DWR finish, it is recommended to use a replenishing product such as Nikwax® TX.Direct Wash-In or TX.Direct Spray-On.
