Women's Primaloft Intensa Gilet

Primaloft Intensa gilet has been designed for those looking for a versatile year-round addition to their wardrobe. The women's Intensa gilet can be used in winter as an insulating layer under a lighter jacket, and in summer it provides thermal protection during sudden weather changes and temperature drops.

Intensa gilet was created using body mapping technology, dividing it into thermal zones. The areas most exposed to cooling down – the front, back and stand-up collar – are made from quilted fabric with Primaloft insulation, while the side panels are made from stretchy Polartec Powerstretch that guarantees thermal comfort.

The quilted fabric is a three-layer material, where the outer and inner layers are RIP- STOP and the middle layer is Primaloft SIlver Eco synthetic insulation.

RIP-STOP reinforces the fibres crosswise and lengthwise, giving the gilet mechanical durability. It also has the following properties: breathable, quick-drying and wind-resistant.

Primaloft Silver Eco synthetic insulation is a lofty and resilient nonwoven fabric whose structure resembles wadding. It contains micro-gaps that trap air, protecting us from the cold. In terms of insulation, Primaloft works similarly to natural down. The micro-gaps in the synthetic down effectively retain warmed air, i.e. the heat produced by the body. In addition, Primaloft Eco maintains a high level of breathability and compressibility and dries quickly. The thermal insulation layer is durable, does not clump and does not shift during use. Primaloft Silver Eco does not absorb excessive water, and even when wet it still retains its insulating properties. What’s more, the synthetic insulation fibres are able to create high surface tension, which allows additional water repellence and even faster drying.

Primaloft Silver Eco will be especially appealing to people who care about the natural environment, because up to 70% of this type of insulation uses plastic bottles in its production. The remaining 30% is virgin fibre, creating a soft, breathable and thermally efficient insulating layer. Primaloft Silver ECO is feather-light and provides warmth and cosiness, as well as anti-allergenic properties (resistance to fungi and bacteria).

Polartec Powerstretch, which we used on the sides of the women's gilet, ensures high thermal comfort and, thanks to the microfleece on the inside, provides excellent insulation and retains heat on cooler days. Polartec Powerstretch fibres guarantee immediate moisture absorption and push it outwards. Thanks to its stretch, Powerstretch allows the gilet to fit any body shape perfectly.
