Women's Taiga Polartec Alpha Gilet – Copper

Polartec Alpha gilet consists of two parts: the main section – insulating the chest and back – and elastic inserts sewn into the sides – thanks to them it fits the body perfectly and moves with you. We sewed two really deep pockets into the gilet, fastened with a flat zip, as well as a large internal one – it will fit a phone (this trick – keeping your phone close to your body – is useful during severe frosts, which reduce battery level). The gilet is finished with a stand-up collar protecting the neck and nape from the wind.

When creating the Polartec Alpha Gilet, we wanted to achieve the best possible warmth-to-weight ratio that a fabric can offer. We made the outer part of the gilet (protecting the torso and back) from fabric produced using Ripstop technology (a similar one is used in the production of mountain hammocks and down jackets); the inside of the gilet is an elastic mesh filled with pleasant-to-the-touch insulating Polartec Alpha tufts. We sewed the elastic side inserts from warm Thermo Pro knit fabric that wicks moisture and adapts to the body's movements.

We wanted the gilet to work both for demanding mountain routes, running and cycling, but also to fit smartly into an urban-sport style. I think we’ve got it, right?

At ATTIQ we believe it is possible to create timeless clothing. We sew our collections so that they combine well with sportswear in various colours and prints. ATTIQ clothing is made in our workshop in southern Poland. We sew using materials from the European Union.
