Women's Taiga ProTech Sweatshirt – Gold

The Pro Tech Taiga sweatshirt is one of those designs where we make changes not because we should, but because you ask us to – athletes, customers. You shared a few interesting notes, which we’ve included in the new edition of the Pro Tech sweatshirt.

Pro Tech Taiga has everything that should be found in a solid thermoactive running sweatshirt: an anatomical cut, well-shaped sleeves finished with a thumb hole, deep pockets, and a hood for wind and a change in the weather. The upgraded Pro Tech is definitely lighter than its predecessor and enhanced with strong, energetic prints. The hood in this model is, in a way, a separate part of the sweatshirt – putting it on doesn’t change the position of the collar – it doesn’t pull it up.

We wanted the sweatshirt, in addition to its thermal insulation properties, to be resistant to light rain and wind, and pleasant to the touch. We sewed it from two types of fabric – the first, made from a waterproof and breathable membrane, protects the chest, back and shoulders (areas that give off the most heat); the second – inserted along the sides and on the sleeves – is an elastic and soft Thermo Pro knit that follows the body’s movements, making the sweatshirt practically unnoticeable. The whole thing is finished with “mesh” microfleece – an extremely delicate and pleasant material that additionally keeps the body warm.

Both in this version of the sweatshirt and in its predecessor, we focused on the details. We constructed them so that they really look good on the body. We used reverse (flat) zips that don’t deform in motion. We finished the thumb openings with a strong yet soft elastic, which doesn’t pill despite repeated friction. Size information, instead of being on a sewn-in label, is applied with durable sublimation printing directly onto the fabric. The sweatshirt has a slightly extended back that shields the lower back from the wind and doesn’t ride up under a backpack.

Taiga Pro Tech works great as a so-called second layer. Fans of cross-country skiing, running and trekking will appreciate it. Urban outdoor enthusiasts will notice it not only because of its properties, but also thanks to the interesting combination of bold colours and Taiga prints inspired by the harsh forests of Eurasia. In a city version, the sweatshirt looks good even with basic jeans.
