A compression calf sleeve is recommended during or after exertion; it supports muscle oxygenation and recovery and speeds up the removal of toxins. It minimises micro-injuries.

We run further, longer and faster. To cope better with fatigue and recover faster between training sessions and races, we reach for innovative technologies used in sport. One of the latest innovations that has become very popular among runners, triathletes and cyclists is the compression calf sleeve. Attiq has also designed and created a seamless compression calf sleeve for its athletes.
The compression sleeve supports blood circulation, helping to oxygenate the muscles faster, speeding up the removal of toxins and recovery. It reduces pain, minimises vibrations and lowers the risk of injury. Thanks to the pressure applied to the muscles, they can be better oxygenated and harmful metabolites (toxins – lactic acid) are eliminated more quickly. To feel the effects of compression, it is recommended to use compression calf sleeves during long and demanding training sessions and immediately after exertion. Over short distances, you may not have time to feel the effects of compression.
Remember, using compression does not eliminate fatigue 100%, but it can slow it down and reduce it while supporting muscle recovery.
Compression means pressure, so when choosing the size of a compression calf sleeve, make sure the sleeve fits snugly. It should be tight enough not to restrict movement. When selecting a compression sleeve, measure your calf at its widest point and choose the correct size based on that measurement.
