The compressive calf band is recommended during or after exercise; supports oxygenation and regeneration of muscles and accelerates the removal of toxins. It minimizes micro-injuries.
We run farther, longer and faster. In order to better deal with fatigue and be able to regenerate faster between trainings and competitions, we use innovative technologies offered in sport. One of the latest innovations that is very popular among runners, triathletes and cyclists is the compression calf band.
Attiq also designed and created a seamless compression calf band for its athletes.
The compressive band supports blood circulation, which oxygenates the muscles faster, accelerates the removal of toxins and regeneration. It reduces pain, minimizes vibrations, and reduces the risk of injury. Thanks to the pressure exerted on the muscles, they can be better oxygenated, and harmful metabolites (toxins - lactic acid) are disposed of faster. In order to feel the effect of compression, it is recommended to use calf compression bands during long and demanding workouts and immediately after exercise. At short distances, we may not be able to feel the effect of compression. Remember that applying compression does not eliminate fatigue 100%, but it can slow it down and reduce it, while supporting muscle regeneration. Compression is pressure, so when choosing the size of the compressive band for the calf, make sure that the band fits tightly. The band should be tight enough not to restrict movement.
When choosing a compressive band, measure the calf at the widest point and choose the correct size based on this size.
