Women's running shorts GRANITE PRO

Mountain runners rebelled! They came to us and said they were fed up with running in trail skirts. They want shorts that are robust, breathable, lightweight and with creative solutions. Girls, we have them for you.

Granite Pro women's shorts are already the third version of our shorts for mountain running. The previous batches sold out in the blink of an eye, especially when we took them with us to exhibitions during trail races. But before we talk about what's new, a few basic details about Granite Pro. These are shorts made up of two layers – an inner layer, replacing underwear, sewn from breathable mesh – and an outer layer – made from durable, lightweight and dirt-resistant polyamide. The material used, created for sewing garments that are used intensively – triathlon or mountain running – although lightweight, is resistant to damage, pilling and abrasion.

The shorts are finished with a wide elastic band that serves as a running belt. Along its entire length, we have sewn in pockets: open ones – where you can easily stash e.g. gels – and zip-fastened ones – for items that cannot be lost on the route.

Granite Pro women's shorts were designed so that with every subsequent kilometre of the run, they still cannot be felt on the body. We used flat seams and moved them so that sensitive parts of the body are not exposed to chafing. The inner mesh acts as underwear and also ensures that body shapes do not show through the fabric.

At the waist we sewed in narrow drawstrings with a silicone finish – you can freely adjust the width of the shorts. Granite Pro have extended inner legs made of durable mesh – this is extra protection for the skin against chafing and mud.

The colour scheme of the shorts was determined by their versatility when combining them with other clothing items. The shorts are solid, will last a long time, and on darker colours it is harder to spot signs of long use.

Mountain runners are a wonderful community. Thanks to their valuable tips and comments, the ATTIQ Team introduced the following changes:

• we added elastic that serves as a running belt,
• we extended the inner leg,
• we changed the material of the inner leg – the new one (mesh) is lighter and even more breathable.
