Women's Alfa Compress Shorts

And now something for fans of “ups and downs” – loosely translated: sporting highs and lows, or climbs and descents – i.e. ultra running. Alfa Pro shorts are running shorts that will perform brilliantly during them.

Women's Alfa Pro shorts, like most mountain running tights, are made in an above-the-knee length. They fit snugly to the body and provide pressure (compression) that helps activate the muscles to work. The running shorts are finished with an elastic rubber cuff lined with silicone on the inside. On the outside we applied the ATTIQ logo. On the side of the shorts, at a standard height, we sewed in mesh pockets and finished them with elastic. The pockets will hold a phone or energy gels. We also added an extra pocket at the back – secured with a zip, with a puller that stays in place while you run to the finish line – the zip pull doesn't “click” while moving. We also added reflective details, so the pocket will protect you twice: firstly it will mark your presence on the route, and secondly you can safely put your phone or documents in it.

At the front, at the bottom of the legs – above the knees – we sewed in non-slip panels with a silicone pattern. They are used for resting your hands on during hikes and uphill efforts. The silicone holds sweaty hands in place so they don't slide along the leg and makes uphill running easier.

We made the running shorts from a substantial, thicker yet breathable, quick-drying sports polyamide. It hugs the body and feels pleasantly cool against the skin. Women's Alfa Pro Shorts have no additional lining, so they wick moisture even better. Due to the “rawness” of the fabric, we chose flat seams that do not protrude above the material, do not chafe the body and do not irritate it.

At the waist, we gathered the shorts with a wide elastic waistband sewn on in reverse compared to usual: on the inside we covered it with fabric, and on the front we left it raw, with an embossed ATTIQ logo and lettering. Firstly, we liked this “twist”; secondly, we wanted the elastic not to be in direct contact with the skin at the waist, which could cause discomfort. From the tunnel at the elastic we led out a drawcord finished with a silicone element – this is additional width adjustment for the shorts.

Alfa Pro compression shorts are designed as clothing for races and high-intensity training. Will those who are only just starting their “ultra” adventure benefit from them too? Yes, although models from a slightly lower price range will also do perfectly well.

One of the key advantages of the Alfa Compress Pro model is functionality. On the back of the shorts there is a zipped pocket where you can store small items such as keys, documents or a phone, without worrying about accidentally losing them. In addition, mesh pockets are placed on the sides, ideal for quick access to energy gels or other accessories useful during training or races. The whole retains a sporty character, but also looks modern thanks to the black colour with a subtle pattern. The waistband not only stabilises the shorts, but also adds an original visual accent.

The combination of all these features makes Alfa Compress Pro shorts an essential part of every sports enthusiast's wardrobe. The compression material supports muscle function, reduces micro-injuries and speeds up recovery, which translates into better results and greater comfort during prolonged effort
