Women's running jacket DVALPINE LITE
A technical, ultra-light jacket is a perfect complement to a sporty and outdoor outfit. It works particularly well when we are caught out by unfavourable weather conditions. The DVALPINE LITE jacket is versatile and ideal for staying dry and comfortable on rainy days during a run or trekking. It can also serve as an additional layer of clothing for winter sports or cycling. The men's jacket also works perfectly as everyday wear.
The hooded running jacket is made from a three-layer laminate: polyester on the outside (with a DWR coating) + membrane on the inside + polyamide. The women's rain and windproof jacket has a ww - protect (water and wind) protection zone. The jacket's protection zone is made from a breathable and waterproof Event DVALPINE membrane. The membrane provides excellent protection against wind and rain while allowing airflow and moving moisture outwards. The outer fabric layer is additionally coated with DWR. DWR serves as an invisible first line of defence against rain. It prevents moisture from penetrating into the fabric.
The ergonomic construction of the men's jacket fits the body perfectly during movement. At the front, the running and trekking jacket features a long YKK zip, making it easy to unzip quickly, put on and take off. The jacket has a fitted hood, an extended back and easy-access zip pockets (2 side pockets + 1 Napoleon chest pocket). The bottom of the jacket and the hood are finished with an aesthetic elastic binding. Reflective elements ensure visibility.
Care of outerwear made from eVent® materials - the original fabric care instructions are available on the material manufacturer's website http://www.eventfabrics.com/fabric-care
1. Secure all zips and closures.
2. Machine wash warm (110 ° F / 40 ° C) using a high-performance cleaner such as Nikwax® Tech Wash,.
3. If you choose to use a conventional liquid laundry detergent, we recommend a second rinse to remove any traces of detergent from the fabric.
4. Tumble dry using a low heat setting to rejuvenate the garment's durable water-repellent (DWR) finish.
5. Do not use fabric softeners, bleach or stain removers, and never dry clean the garment.
6. We do not recommend using an iron to rejuvenate the DWR finish, as an iron that is too hot can irreversibly damage the fabric.
The outer layer of the fabric is coated with a durable water-repellent (DWR) finish. DWR serves as an invisible first line of defence in wet conditions, and when working properly it causes moisture to bead on the fabric surface and run off quickly. The DWR finish deteriorates over time and will need to be refreshed. A simple way to check the DWR finish of a garment is to lightly spray it with water and see whether the water beads off or is absorbed by the fabric. If the fabric 'wets out', it is time to revive the DWR finish. When it is time to refresh the DWR finish, it is recommended to use a replenishing product such as Nikwax® TX.Direct Wash-In or TX.Direct Spray-On.
